Good Morning party people! It’s another overcast and gloomy day outside so I am grateful to have shelter and warmth today. Over there in the house of Plantress we have a new leak in the family room. Yay. It appears to be originating from the frame of the upstairs balcony door. If it’s not one thing, it’s another.
Did anyone participate in the race for the cure? In hunt Valley MD it is a BIG thing. Such a beautiful sight to see these women all there for each other. United in a cause. Save the TA-TAs (I want that bumper sticker.)
Some people love bumper stickers and some people really hate the public display of beliefs, humor, opinion, whathaveyou. I LOVE them. If a car is covered I am amused while driving by reading all their groovy stickers. Note to self: people with many stickers tend to be crazy liberals. Conservative republicans tend to have only one sticker, some kind of political endorsement usually. Guess I err on the side of crazy liberal unlike my friend Sadie who is a conservative political sheep with NO idea of the issues behind her mindless parroting. Guess we’ll see if she reads this one, huh?
So, craft fair coming up. I’m signing up for propay so I can take credit cards. I’m soooo excited.

ReplyDeleteHope you do great at the Arts/Craft Show and yes being able to accept plastic money helps a lot. People tend to spend a bit more when they put the purchase on their card and they aren't the ones that end up buying a little $5 item. Of course those little $5 purchases can add up.
One disadvantage I found with using a CC service such as ProPay is that if you don't do a lot of shows their fees can nickel and dime you to death. We figured we needed to do at least 1 show every week-end to justify having the service.
