the key to a happy spring

For me the key to a happy spring is to get out there in the dirt!  There are plants to cover, plants to uncover, soil to amend and edges to dig.  I'm thinking spring break is here and it's time to get some work done!

I say make me a dress out of this last one.  3/4 length sleeve, fitted bodice and a mid calf flared skirt with some taffeta underneath to make it stand out!

More Later,

  1. After this winter there will be a lot of work to do out in the gardens and yards all across the USA. I lost my beloved poinsettia, think its spirit moved on to a warmer climate like an island in the Galapagos. At least we're getting some sunshine here which is a vast improvement over the gray, blah days.

Yes that white on white would make a lovely fabric. Oh the things one could make with it. :)

  2. So nice to see you back :)

Yep, I think there is a lot to get done in the garden (so I have sent my Hubby out every weekend, He! He!)

It is his thing to hack down the shrubs and do all the manly stuff :) I get to play house and plant all the little pretties in pots :)

    Have a lovely weekend, T :)
