Do you gain weight in the winter? I find that I am inside and on the couch far more often in the winter season. I love to bake on a cold and snowy day and the goods that are the result are hardly low fat or heart healthy. Think sour cream chocolate chip pound cake. Think gingersnaps and chocolate chunk cookies. Ham and oyster casserole, turkey tetrazinni, homemade soups and chili. With corn bread.
Right now I am feeling a little bit roly poly. The weight will come off once the garden begins but I am always a substantial size.
I want to hear from you “women of substance”. Do you gain in the winter? Do you care? If I had my way I would go into hibernation until the spring.
